Use settings in this group to configure outputs. An output can be driven by multiple shutdowns. An output is active when any one of the shutdowns that drives it becomes active. Use the Export feature to view a matrix of which shutdowns drive which outputs.
An output does not have an explicit enable. An output is enabled as long one enabled shutdown is driving the output.
A shutdown that is incorrectly configured will be considered active and force the output to be active.
Outputs - Configuration Parameters
Latch Output
Use this setting to latch the output state once it's active. If this setting is selected, and the output becomes active, a Reset command must be issued to exit the Active Latched state.
When this option isn't selected, the output will be active when any of the shutdowns that drives the output is active, and inactive when all of the shutdowns that drive this output are inactive.
Use this setting to implement a delay between a shutdown that drives this output becoming active and the output itself becoming active. If the shutdowns that drive this output become inactive while the output is in the Delay state then the output will move back to the Inactive state.
Select the Suppress After Reset option to suppress the output for the amount of time in the Suppress After Reset Time field after a Reset command is issued. When the output is suppressed it will not go active.
The intention here is to allow for some time for the the state of the system to return to normal after an output becomes active before allowing the output to become active again.
These settings have no effect if the Latch Output option is not selected.
Use this setting to configure a register to hold the value of the output. When the output is active, a 0 will be written to this register. When the output is inactive a 1 will be written to this register.
Each output also has an associated status parameter that provides more details about the state of the output.
Use this setting to configure the maximum time that the output override is allowed to be enabled for. An enabled override will be disabled automatically by the program once this amount of time has elapsed. Set this value to 0 to allow for the override to be enabled indefinitely.
