The Gen7 Systems SCADASuite Shutdown Manager application allows you to scale and average input values and then compare the processed values to configured limits to drive outputs. The application is designed to make it easy to implement shutdown logic, where multiple inputs drive one output, and the output goes active when any one of the inputs goes active. A sophisticated export makes it easy to verify that the configured logic matches the designed logic.
Key features include:
Apply scaling to raw integer inputs to convert them to floating point values.
Apply noise reduction techniques like averaging for analog inputs or debouncing to digital inputs.
Scale and average floating point values.
Use processed values to create high high, high, low, low low, overrange and underrange shutdowns.
Allow multiple shutdowns to drive outputs.
Create a sophisticated report on the application's configuration to help create and debug shutdown logic.
Reduce Modbus register usage in the RTU.
