Use settings in this group to configure gas injection when the Gas Lift Control Mode is Continuous Variable Injection. These settings are not used elsewhere.

PID Settings

1. PID Settings
Use these settings to configure  the PID that determines the injection flow rate set point when the Gas Lift Control Mode is Continuous Variable Injection.

The primary value of the PID, which is the value that is controlled to match the set point, is the average flow from the well. The set point for the PID is the average calculated critical flow multiplied by the Critical Flow Multiplier. When the well flow is greater than the critical flow times the multiplier, the PID output will be at the Min Injection Rate. When the well flow is less than the critical flow times the multiplier, the PID will increase its output value, and thus increasing the amount of gas injected, up to the  Max Injection Rate.

The value of Min Injection Rate is the minimum output value for the PID.
The value of Max Injection Rate is the maximum output value for the PID.
The PID Gain, PID Reset Time and PID Deadband correspond directly the associated values in the PID algorithm.

Critical Flow Multiplier

2. Critical Flow Multiplier
Use this setting to configure the set point for the PID. The set point is the average critical flow multiplied by this value. This setting is only used when the Gas Lift Control Mode is Continuous Variable Injection

Averaging

3. Averaging
Use these settings to average the values of critical flow and well flow that are used by the PID algorithm. Averaging can be used to reject noise and to otherwise smooth the inputs.
