Manage External Database Connections

1. Manage External Database Connections
Use this area to manage external database connections. Settings are stored in the local database, so once a connection is created it will be there when the program is restarted.

A User Name is only required when Trusted Connection is not selected. When Trusted Connection is selected, Windows domain authentication is used. Passwords are not stored with the connection information.

You can delete a connection by selecting it and pressing the DEL key. A connection cannot be deleted when it is in edit mode. To exit edit more, click the icon that appears to the left of the selection column. This icon will only appear when the connection is in edit more.

Use the selection column to select settings to use to connect.
