Use the instructions below to get started quickly with Gen7 Systems SCADASuite. A high degree of familiarity with SCADAPack RTUs is assumed. You'll need Telepace Studio to install the SCADASuite executable on the RTU.
Use the link on the Help tab of the PC Configuration Program to download the zip file with the latest RTU Programs.
Choose an RTU Program to install on the RTU. For general test and demonstration purposes the executable with _all in the filename contains all of the possible applications and all features.
Install the C program on the RTU. Make sure that only one SCADASuite executable is installed on the RTU at any time.
In the PC Configuration program, create some application configurations and make some changes.
In the PC Configuration program, create a set of communication settings that match the settings in the RTU.
Use the Sync with RTU tab in the PC Configuration program to download your configuration to the RTU.
Use the Test tab in the PC Configuration Program to monitor execution of the applications on the RTU.
All applications and features will be licensed for 7 days after the executable is first downloaded to the RTU. To reset the demonstration period, download the executable to the RTU again.
