The Gen7 Systems SCADASuite Datalogs application is an improvement on the built in data logging capability in SCADAPack RTUs. The Datalogs application lets you easily log values from Modbus registers to SCADAPack datalogs. SCADAPack datalogs are stored in non-volatile memory (NV RAM) which means that the data is persistent across reboots and will survive power outages.
Logged data can be easily retrieved and viewed via Schneider Electric's standalone SCADALog program, or through Schneider Electric's ClearSCADA SCADA host software.
Key features includes:
Create, delete and otherwise manage data logs.
Log digital, integer and floating point values.
For integer and floating point values, a function like minimum, maximum, or average can be applied to the data before it is logged.
Identify orphaned datalogs, where a datalog is allocated NV RAM but not owned by any process.
Log periodically, as fast as every 5 seconds.
Log on demand, via a Modbus coil.
Create datalogs with up to 16384 entries.
Easy integration with other SCADASuite applications.
