The Plunger Lift application implements 4 independent plunger control loops. Each loop has its own configuration, its own set of Status Parameters and its own Control Parameters. Control loops can be enabled independently and configuration or run time changes to made one control loop do not affect other control loops. All control loops do share the application's diagnostic log, however.
Each plunger control loop has an associated gas lift control loop. Plunger control loop 0 is automatically associated with gas lift control loop 0, and so on, for all of the control loops. Gas lift can be enabled independently of the plunger control loop.
