The core functionality of the Tank Volume application is to convert the measured fluid level from a tank into volume. The application also makes it easy to automatically track loading and unloading transactions from the tank based solely on the change in the fluid volume in the tank. Transactions can also be started and stopped manually.
The application can also read flow from a meter and convert it to accumulated volume. Transactions can be started and stopped automatically by detecting changes in the flow rate. It's also possible to start and stop meter transactions manually.
Transaction data for both tanks and meters is presented over Modbus registers. The application also makes it easy to store transaction data in datalogs when using the Datalogs application.
The Tank Volume application supports up to four independent tanks. Each tanks has its own configuration, its own set of Status Parameters and its own Control Parameters.
Operational Details
The Shutdown Manager application executes once every 5 seconds.
